About Us
Dr. Ali Sabbaghi
Ali M. Sabbaghi, M.D., is board-certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Pain Medicine. As a physical medicine, rehabilitation and pain expert, Dr. Sabbaghi treats a wide range of problems ranging from neck pain, lower back pain, any type of joint pain, fibromyalgia, myofascial pain syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome, acute or chronic pain, trigger points, headaches, sprains/strains, arthritis, any soreness or stiffness to spinal cord injuries and any past failed surgeries.
Dr. Sabbaghi completed his undergraduate degree in Biological Science at University of California, Davis. He received his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine where he earned honors in Pediatrics, Pediatrics Sub internship, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Orthopedic Surgery, Radiology, and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He served his internship at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens, and his residency at UCLA in physical medicine and rehabilitation with specialty training in interventional spine/pain management.
Dr. Sabbaghi’s goal is to evaluate each patient as an individual and use all multidisciplinary treatments and modalities to decrease or eliminate pain and enhance overall performance without surgery. Dr. Sabbaghi pinpoints the source of pain and then designs a specific treatment plan that can be carried out together with the patient and with the help of the rehabilitation physician’s medical team. This medical team may include other physicians and health professionals, such as physical therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, neurologists, orthopedic surgeons, spine and neurosurgeons, psychologists and psychiatrist. By providing an appropriate treatment plan, pain and rehabilitation physicians help patients stay as active as possible at any age. Dr. Sabbaghi’s broad medical expertise allows him to treat disabling conditions throughout a person’s lifetime.

Michiko is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner.
She received her ASN degree from Golden West College in 2008.
Then she received her BSN degree from California State University Fullerton in 2011.
After extensive training, she obtained her MSN degree from California State University Los Angeles in 2014.
She is Board certified adult gerontology NP.
She has been trained by Dr. Sabbaghi regarding all aspects of Pain Management and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She has also been trained with all office based injections and electrodiagnostics including EMG and nerve conduction studies.
